Facial Botox Treatment Areas
Forehead Wrinkles
Botox is an ideal way to prevent or treat horizontal wrinkles that form on the forehead when raising the eyebrows in expressions of surprise or disapproval.
Glabellar Lines (Frown Lines)
A few small Botox injections between the eyebrows are enough to smooth the vertical lines that appear when frowning, often forming the “11” lines between the eyebrows.
Crow’s Feet (Outer Eye Wrinkles)
Botox is applied around the eyes to treat the wrinkles known as crow’s feet—radiating lines that appear at the outer corners of the eyes when smiling or squinting.
Bunny Lines (Nose Wrinkles)
Botox is injected at the upper sides of the nose to smooth the wrinkles that form when the skin of the nose scrunches from smiling. These lines are called bunny lines because they resemble the folds on a rabbit’s nose..
Gummy Smile
A gummy smile is when excessive gum shows while smiling. Two Botox injections, one on each side at the base of the nose, allow a slight relaxation of the upper lip, reducing gum visibility.
Marionette Lines (Sad Lines)
These are wrinkles that form at the corners of the mouth, making the face appear sad or downturned. Botox is applied to the depressor anguli oris muscle, as these lines are primarily caused by its overactivity, which pulls down the corners of the mouth.
Smoker’s Lines (Perioral Wrinkles)
Botox effectively smooths the vertical lines that appear above the lips, commonly referred to as smoker’s lines.
Masseter Hypertrophy
Enlarged masseter muscles can give the face a square appearance. Botox injections in the masseters relax these muscles, resulting in a more oval facial contour.
Platysma (Nefertiti Lift)
The platysma is a superficial, flat muscle of the neck. Its contraction creates prominent vertical neck bands that, over time, can become permanent. Botox can soften or even eliminate these lines, providing a smoother, more youthful neck appearance.
